COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After just two positive cases for COVID-19 had been reported in Branch County from last Sunday through Thursday, the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency reported four new cases from the county on Friday.
That brought the number of positive cases in Branch County outside of the Lakeland Correctional Facility up to 35.
Meanwhile, one more case was reported in Hillsdale County to bring that county’s total number of coronavirus cases to 85. One more case was also reported in St. Joseph County to bring the county’s total up to 23.
The Calhoun County Public Health Department reported on Friday a total of 130 positive cases so far with 42 persons being hospitalized.
There have been 10 deaths in Hillsdale County, five in Calhoun County, four prisoners at the Lakeland Correctional Facility, two in Branch County outside of the prison and one in St. Joseph County.
