COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Event though it’s mid April, Old Man Winter isn’t giving up yet.
Snow, at times heavy, is expected this morning into midday. According to the National Weather service, the afternoon snow will change over to rain before ending this evening. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Branch County until 2:0 p.m. Friday.
Before the snow melts, a narrow swath of 4 to 6 inches of snow will be possible while the rest of the area sees a few inches. All of this snow is expected to melt this afternoon and evening.
Overnight temperatures will plummet into the 20’s and a Freeze Warning is in effect into Saturday morning.
