COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – As a cold front moved through Branch County Thursday morning, temperatures dropped from the upper 40’s into the mid-30’s, bringing with it some snow and ice.
The high temperature at the Branch County Memorial Airpott Wednesday was 70 degrees. The high was 72 degrees Tuesday.
The official temperature was 45 degrees at 6:00 a.m., while some areas in the county were higher. By 7:00 a.m. the official temperature had dropped to 39 degrees, with some areas of the county reporting as low as 34 degrees. Snowfall was reported in some areas south of Coldwater.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, with wind gusts expected up to 40 miles per hour.
