ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vehicle theft that occurred on March 10.
Police say the theft happened just after 5 p.m. outside of the courthouse located at 125 W. Main St. in Centreville, MI.
The vehicle is a 2017 GMC Terrain SLT (Crossover) with a temporary Indiana plate. It has a VIN number of 2GKFLPE33H46262454 and is dark blue in color.
Court security camera footage revealed that the vehicle was taken from one of the south parking lots of the courthouse. A red Chevy Equinox drove up to the GMC Terrain. Several people were seen exiting the Equinox.
One person got into the GMC and drove south on Dean St., whereas the red Equinox traveled west on Burr Oak St.
The vehicle was entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.
Anyone with information on the Equinox or the stolen GMC is asked to contact the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office or Central Dispatch.
