BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Four players from Bronson County have been named to the All Big Eight Conference Girls Basketball Team for 2019-2020.
Making the first team were Keona Salesman and Meagan Lasky from Bronson along with Katie Rathbun and Madison Hinds of Quincy.
Alana Nelson of undefeated league champion Springport was named the conference’s Most Valuable Player.
She along with teammates Alex Maher and Ryann Overweg made the first team along with Billie Weeks of Concord, Mackenzie Baker of Jonesville and Mallory Wheeler of Reading.
Branch County players who earned honorable mentions were Alanna Mayer of Bronson, Hannah Clark and Elizabeth Schreur of Quincy along with Logan Allen and Emma Dexter from Union City.
