MARSHALL, MI. – (WTVB) – In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, Calhoun County and Court offices and facilities, including the Justice Center, will be closed to the public starting on Tuesday, March 17th.
The closure to the public will be in effect until at least Monday, April 13th and will be subject to future evaluations of this rapidly evolving public health emergency.
County government operations will continue with employees critical to providing essential services and functions.
This decision was made following guidance from state and federal agencies, as well as advice from the Calhoun County Public Health Department.
County and court employees will continue to receive pay and benefits throughout this public closure period. The County partially activated its Emergency Operations Center last Friday.
