COLDWATER, MI. – (WTVB) – The public will not have access to the Henry L. Browne Municipal Building starting on Tuesday morning.
Offices for the City of Coldwater and the Board of Public Utilities in the Browne Municipal Building will be closed to the public until further notice due to concerns and recommendations regarding COVID-19 but the offices will be fully operational during this time.
This closing of the offices to the public will take effect at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
In addition until further notice, the Coldwater B.P.U. will not be processing any service disconnections for non-payment. While your account will still show an amount owed at the end of the coming months, you will not be disconnected due to that amount owed. A public announcement will be made once disconnects are reinstated. The processing of late fees will also be halted.
City officials are asking that all business that you would like to conduct with the city, including signing up for services or paying bills, be done over the phone or online.
