KENDALLVILLE, IN. – (WTVB) – The health officer in Noble County, Indiana says a patient at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville has a “presumptive positive” case of COVID-19.
WANE-TV reports that according to health officer Dr. Terry Gaff, results of tests on the patient were received from the Indiana Department of Health Sunday night.
The Centers for Disease Control have not confirmed the case yet so for now it’s being labled as “presumptive positive”.
WANE-TV also reported on Monday that Parkview Health confirms a patient was in isolation in its intensive care unit after they had recently traveled out of Indiana.
No other information about the patient has been released.
According to WANE-TV, two clinics where the patient had been treated since the first of March were closed and throughly cleaned. Workers at the clinics were told the stay home and will be screened for potential exposure.
