GRAND RAPIDS, MI. – (WTVB) – Four members of Coldwater’s gymnastics team qualified as individuals for the M.H.S.A.A. State Finals on Saturday during the regionals hosted by Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills.
Leah Goodwin was second in the vault, Randi Dudek was fifth on the vault and tied for sixth in floor exercise, Abby Travelbee was fifth on the uneven bars and Layla Schoch was fifth in floor exercise.
The Cardinals finished fifth in the team standings and set a new team record of 137.575 points.
They missed qualifying for the team state finals by about three points.
