COLDWATER, MI. – (WTVB) – Coldwater defeated Sturgis 38-25 on Thursday night in the 46th Al Clyne Exchange Club 9th Grade Basketball Tournament at Legg Middle School.
Garrett Johns led Coldwater with 11 points while Elijah Sloan added 10 points.
Loy Norrix defeated Marshall 38-26 in the other game played on Thursday night.
Based upon the tie breakers and the viewing of the games by tournament officials, the three games for Saturday are now set.
Coldwater plays Sturgis in the consolation game at 2:00 p.m. followed by Marshall against Battle Creek Central in the runner up game at 3:30 p.m. and Kalamazoo Loy Norrix against Battle Creek Lakeview in the Championship game at 5:00 p.m..
