COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Treasurer Ann Vrablic announced at Thursday’s Board of Commissioners work session that she will not seek a third term in office.
She said her Chief Deputy Treasurer Kelli Talbot will be running for the office and that she has Vrablic’s backing.
Vrablic plans to retire when her term expires at the end of the year. She has worked 23 years for the county and was elected as Branch County Treasurer in 2012.
Vrablic succeeded longtime Treasurer Sandra Thatcher who served in the post for 24 years before retiring.
Before she became Treasurer, Vrablic served as the account clerk and jury clerk for Branch County District Court.
