QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The apartment building in the Village of Quincy where a fire in June of 2020 took the lives of 39-year-old David Green and his 37-year-old wife Amanda is in the process of being demolished.
In addition, Village Manager Brittany Butler said during Tuesday’s Village Council meeting that two nearby structures will also be torn down after the owner donated the property to the village.
She said the structures being donated were beyond repair.
Two other persons were injured in the blaze at 58 West Chicago on the morning of June 23, 2020. Additional occupants were not injured but several pets did not survive the fire.
