COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The second annual Great Start Collaborative of Branch County Community Celebration was held this past Tuesday night.
The Great Start Collaborative of Branch County tries to insure there is a coordinated system of community resources and supports for children under the age of five. It became part of the Branch Intermediate School District in 2018.
Four Branch County organizations were presented with awards.
The First Baptist Church of Coldwater was presented with the Collaborative Partner of the Year.
The Family Friendly Business of the Year award was presented to Great Lakes Chiropractic and Great Lakes Health and Fitness.
Handle with Care was recognized as the Outstanding Program of the Year.
Barbara Hantz from the Munchkinland Childcare Home received the award for Childcare Provider of the Year. She has been a licensed child care provider for four decades.
