COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School girls basketball teams were back in action Wednesday night against Harper Creek.
The eighth grade A team improved to 4-4 as they won 48-11. Mackenzie Scheid had 16 points, eight rebounds and five steals while Jaelah Sloan had 12 points and Cara Miller added 10 points. Kennedy Clemens had four assists.
The eighth grade B team won a overtime thiller 13-12. Coldwater was led in scoring by Emma Frey with four points. Kerry Brazee had 12 rebounds while Kimberli Rivera-Tovar had 10 rebounds and Emma Hamilton had nine rebounds.
The 7th grade A team also won an exciting overtime game 39-37. Elli Foley once again led the team with 33 points, seven rebounds, five blocks and three steals. Ava Longstreet had three steals.
The 7th Grade B team lost 41-29. Drew Sharpley led Legg with 19 points. Elizabeth Hayward had six points and Breonna Dearman had four points.
