COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school basketball, the Coldwater Cardinals hope to keep their momentum rolling on Tuesday night as they’ll host the Jackson Northwest Mounties.
The Cardinals have won four straight and eight of their nine. They and Pennfield are tied for first in the Interstate 8 with 8-2 conference records. Coldwater is now 10-5 overall.
It will be a tripleheader at the Coach Floyd Eby gymnasium. The freshman game starts at 4:00 p.m. followed by the J.V. game at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity contest at 7:00 p.m..

A Branch County matchup highlights Big 8 Conference boys basketball Tuesday night, Quincy will host Union City as the Orioles are a game back of Reading for first place in the conference following their big home court win over Homer on Friday. Reading leads the Big 8 at 9-1 followed by Quincy at 8-2 and Homer at 7-2.
Also in the Big 8 Conference Tuesday night, Bronson will play at Jonesville.

Coldwater looks to get back on the right track Tuesday night at Jackson Northwest. After their loss at Parma Western last Friday, the Cardinals are 8-8 overall and 6-4 in the Interstate 8.
In non-conference games, Union City plays host to Bellevue and Bronson will host Schoolcraft.
