UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The rash of flu and flu like illnesses in our area has now affected Union City Community Schools.
After the district was closed because of the weather conditions on Thursday, Superintendent Ronna Steel says due to sickness in their district, all schools and offices will be closed on Friday.
In addition, Friday night’s Varsity basketball games with Concord have been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
The Hall of Fame induction reception and ceremony has also been called off for Friday night.
The Hall of Fame activities will take place on Friday, February 14 in between the girls and boys varsity basketball games against Reading.
