COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The committee for the Great Hospice Duck Race recently presented a check to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital for just under $26,000 which were the proceeds from the 26th annual event that was held last June which benefited hospital Hospice Services.
This fundraising effort is made possible only through the diligence of many volunteers, as well as the hundreds of sponsors and donors from the community.
The annual Great Hospice Duck Race was established to raise funds for PCRH Hospice Services.
All proceeds support patient care including medications, hospital beds, home oxygen and other equipment that might be needed.
The goal of hospice is to provide terminally ill patients with the ability to control the direction of their care while maintaining dignity.
