COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – This will be the second year grants from a M.S.H.D.A. Neighborhood Enhancement Program will be available to eligible homeowners in the City of Coldwater.
The program is designed to provide direct benefit to homeowners in targeted neighborhoods. Eligible homeowners can use the grant funds to do work on sidings, roofs, windows, doors, driveways or sidewalks.
City Manager Keith Baker said during Monday’s City Council meeting the grants will be available this year to residents of the First Ward in an area bound by East Pearl, South Sprague, Division and Park Avenue.
The program was available to Second Ward residents last year.
To qualify, a resident must own their home, be current on taxes and insurance coverage and have an income of 120 percent or less of the Area Median Income for their household size.
