COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The temperature hit 52 degrees in Coldwater on Monday and the groundhog said we were going to have an early spring. But you don’t mess with Old Man Winter in the first week of February.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the area which will be in effect from late Wednesday afternoon until Thursday morning.
Forecasters are calling for mixed precipitation with total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches expected.
Snow will mainly effect portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan and northwest Ohio while a mixture of snow, sleet, and freezing rain is expected to the south.
You can plan on slippery road conditions especially on untreated secondary roads, bridges, and overpasses. The hazardous conditions could impact your drive on Thursday morning.
