DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Former Michigan State University basketball star Keith Appling has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a relative.
According to Michigan State Police, the 29-year-old was taken into custody yesterday morning in Chelsea. Detroit police had been searching for Appling after 66-year-old Clyde Edwards was shot Saturday night on the city’s northwest side.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
