BATLLE CREEK, MI. – (WTVB) – Bronson’s Ben Modert was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler on Saturday as he captured the 119 pound championship at the Bill Evans Memorial Tournament hosted by Battle Creek Central.
The Vikings finished seventh out of 22 teams and had six wrestlers make a trip to podium.
Besides Modert’s title at 119, Justin Blankenship was second at 189 pounds, Craig Tappenden was fourth at 160, Perry Lake was sixth at 112 pounds, Preston Wronikowski was eighth at 125 pounds and Brenyn Fee was eighth at 130 pounds.
