WOODBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A 52-year-old Fayette, Ohio man was flown out Monday afternoon after he was badly injured in a Hillsdale County crash involving his semi-truck.
Michigan State Police say according to a preliminary investigation, the semi went off of Tripp Road near Camden Road and overturned.
Emergency first responders had to extricate the driver from the vehicle.
The unidentified driver was the lone occupant of the truck. He sustained serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted by Life Flight to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
No other vehicles were involved and the investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
The Michigan State Police were assisted at the scene by the Wright-Waldron Fire Department and Hudson EMS.
