HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – The long trip to Hastings was a successfull one for the Coldwater High School bowling teams Tuesday afternoon, as they swept the Hastings Saxons by scores of 24-6 in the boys match and 28-2 in the girls match.
Noella Keplinger led the Coldwater girls with games of 165 and 224 for a 389 series. Carly Gebbink had games of 187 and 183 for a 370 series while Allison Caswell rolled a 181.
Coldwater won both baker games and defeated Hastings in the regular games 1,635 to 1,425.
The Coldwater boys won the regular games 1,955 to 1,657 after splitting the baker games.
Kai Kinsey had games of 247 and 192. Logan Cleckner had games of 234 and 182 while Chase Rubley rolled a 188, Austin Johnson had a 200 and Dayten Yearling had games of 193 and 187.
The Coldwater J.V. boys split the regular games and won both baker games. They were led by Chance Cook with games of 201 and 180. Alex Rogers had a 196 while Cameron Shuler rolled a 183.
