CONSTANTINE, MI (WTVB) – Widespread illness has forced a St. Joseph County school district to shut down for the next couple of days.
Constantine school officials posted on their Facebook page that at the recommendation of the St. Joseph County Health Department, all of the Constantine schools are closed for Monday and Tuesday.

There have been a lot of illnesses this winter. Statistics from the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency show there have been three times the number of influenza cases reported in Branch, Hillsdale, and St. Joseph Counties during this flu season through the end of December.
Those numbers are expected to go up when the January numbers come out.
Pansophia Academy in Coldwater had to shut down January 17, 2020 due to the number of sick students and staff.
