UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Union City Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with The Society for Historic Preservation, Union Township Library, Union City Parks and Rec and the Union Lake Community Association are planning a day to Celebrate the St. Joe in Union City.
It will take place on Saturday, August 28.
The day will culminate with the screening of “Then, Now and Always…The St. Joseph River Story,” in the Rick Mears Amphitheater, a new documentary being released by WNIT Public Television out of South Bend.
The film screening will be preceded by a concert by the Jim Stout Band.
Both events are free. A day long schedule of activities will be released soon.
