JACKSON, MI.- (WTVB) – After being down by one point at halftime, the Coldwater Cardinals once again played a strong second half on Friday night as they won 54-44 at Jackson Lumen Christi for their fourth straight victory.
Coldwater turned the game around with a 23-14 third quarter as they improved to 6-4 overall and 5-2 in the Interstate 8 Conference.
After his older sister Carlee scored 34 points in the girls game, Ethan Crabtree led Coldwater with 15 points, eight rebounds and four steals.
Dylan Targgart scored 13 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Spencer Rodesiler had 10 points while Austin Santure had nine points, eight rebounds and four steals.
Conor Spencer led Lumen Christi with 16 points.
With the victory and Parma Western’s loss to Harper Creek, the Cardinals have moved into a three way tie for first place in the Interstate 8 Conference with Pennfield and Western.
