QUINCY, MI. – (WTVB) – Will Dunn and Kyler Economou combined for 37 points on Friday night as the Quincy Orioles cruised to a 58-31 victory over the Jonesville Comets on Quincy Hall of Fame Night.
The Orioles only led 13-10 after the first quarter but began to open up space in the second quarter as they outscored the Comets 14-6 to take a 27-16 halftime lead.
Quincy put the game away with a 16-7 third quarter which built the lead to 43-23.
The Orioles held Jonesville to 22 percent shooting and owned a 41-17 edge in rebounding.
Dunn finished with 20 points which included three dunks. He also had 12 rebounds. Economou had 17 points while Evan Coon had seven rebounds.
The Orioles are now 8-2 overall and 5-1 in the Big 8 which puts them in a three way tie for first place with Homer and Reading after the Trojans defeated the Rangers 75-54 on Friday night.

UNION CITY, MI. – (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings got their first Big 8 Conference victory of the season on Friday night as they defeated the Union City Chargers 61-46 on Snocoming Night in Union City. Aden Hathaway led Bronson with 16 points while Graham Eley added 11 points. Kyle Johnson led Union City with 14 points. The Vikings improved to 3-8 overall and 1-5 in the Big 8. The Chargers dropped to 0-6 in the conference and 2-8 overall.
