COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Administrator Bud Norman told the Board of Commissioners during their work session Thursday that they are encouraged about what looks like will be the final design for the Branch County Jail.
Nearly 20 persons include represenatives from various county departments and those involved in the project went over the design during a nearly five hour jail committee meeting on Tuesday.
Another meeting has been scheduled for next Wednesday.
After the design is finished by the architect, Clark Construction will solicit bids for the project. They will then bring their bid recommendations to the County Commissioners.
Norman told Commissioners on Thursday bonding for the jail project is expected to take place in March.
