STEUBEN COUNTY, IN (WTVB) – Two Michigan men were arrested on marijuana charges following a traffic stop on the Indiana Toll Road in Steuben County just after midnight Tuesday morning.
Troopers say a westbound 2011 Chevrolet was stopped for an equipment violation near the 151 mile marker.
While the trooper who made the stop was talking to 37-year-old Ryan Bartlett of Paw Paw, he purportedly smelled the odor of raw marijuana.
A subsequent search of the Chevrolet revealed more than a pound-and-a-half of suspected raw marijuana, several vape pen cartridges containing suspected THC oil and suspected marijuana wax.
Bartlett was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and cited for having an expired driver’s license.
A passenger, 58-year-old Kevin Cutrer of Benton Harbor, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Both men were taken to the Steuben County Jail.
