BRONSON, MI – (WTVB) – The Coldwater boys bowling team earned their first tournament championship of the season on Friday as they won the Bronson Viking Invitational at the Strike Zone.
The Cardinals led all qualifiers with a two game regular score of 1,500 and a six game baker block of 1,049 for a total score of 2,549.
Coldwater then defeated Schoolcraft in the first round before knocking off Sturgis for the championship.
The Coldwater girls qualified third out of eight teams for match play. They then lost to Bronson by one pin in the first round of match play to finish third for the day.
