BRONSON, MI – (WTVB) – In a rare Wednesday night game, the Bronson Vikings ended a six game losing streak as they defeated the Athens Indians 66-55.
The Vikings led 18-10 after the first quarter and 31-24 at the half. After the two teams battled to a 20-20 third quarter, the Vikings gradually pulled away as they outscored Athens 15-11 in the final stanza for their second win of the season.
Graham Eley led the Vikings with 22 points and nine rebounds. Conner Covey added 10 points while Blaine Robinson also had nine rebounds.
The win improved the Vikings record to 2-6.
