Induction ceremonies will take place in between games of a girls/boys varsity basketball doubleheader as the Coldwater Cardinals host Pennfield. The twinbill starts at 6:00 p.m.. All of the other Branch County basketball teams are on the road Friday night. Quincy is at Homer while Union City travels to Reading and Bronson will be at Springport.

Pennfield 27, Coldwater 19 (Kyra Klotz led Coldwater with six points)
Also in basketball, the St. Charles Cougars defeated Factoryville 46-19. Leading St. Charles in scoring was Alex Richards with 12 points followed by Josie Mescher and Christopher Grahl with 7 points each. The Cougars will be in action next Thursday in Factoryville. The Cougars are now 1-1 in conference play.
