COLDWATER – (WTVB) – Coldwater’s wrestlers wrapped up the home portion of their schedule Wednesday night as they split a pair of Interstate 8 Conference matches. The Cardinals defeated Pennfield 60-24 but lost to Parma Western 49-19.
Cardinal pins against Pennfield were by Zach Lewis (130), Zeke Nowicki (145), Caleb Litwiller (152), Matt Gipple (171), Cody Pike (215), Hashed Abdullah (103) and Jabr Muflihi (112). Pike scored his pin in just 13 seconds. Logan Pike (119), Marshall Hoard (125) and Nick Buchanan (189) won on voids.
Cardinals got pins against Western from Nowicki at 145 and Buchanan at 171. Kevin Hall won on a decision at 285 and Hoard scored a major decision at 125.
