BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Representatives from the Branch County United Way and Century Bank and Trust recently presented $2,000 checks for the funding of Junior Achievement curriculum in Branch County to Laura Lutterbeck who is the District Director of JA of Southwest Michigan.
Funds will be used to support high school JA curriculum at Coldwater High School.
Research conducted by Junior Achievement and Survey Monkey shows that helping students link what they learn in school to life outside the classroom is one of the biggest concerns facing teachers.
The staff at Century Bank and Trust will not only be supporting JA of Southwest Michigan financially, but will also be sharing their time in area classrooms during the 2019-2020 school year.
