BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School bowling teams split their matches against Pennfield Wednesday at M-66 Bowl in Battle Creek.
The Coldwater girls varsity team took a close victory 16-14. with regular game scores of 740-747 and 814-648, totals of 1554-1395. Coldwater lost the first Baker game 153-130 but won the second baker game 166-155. The varsity girls were led by Noella Keplinger with games of 186 and 185 for a 375 series.
The boys varsity team did not fare as well as they lost 22-8. Winning game one, 793-738. Losing the second regular game 821-757. They lost both baker games 129-136 and 163-188. The boys were led by Kai Kinsey with a 197 game and Dayten Yearling with games of 203 and 183.
In the JV competition the girls only had 3 bowlers, but held their own again 4 Panther bowlers, losing 22-8. The JV boys lost 21-9.
Coloma 22, Bronson girls 8
Harlee Davis led Bronson with a 344 series while Dakota Smith rolled a 333 and Aubrey Weinberg had a 329.
