COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The inclement weather forced some changes to the agenda as Coldwater High School’s Class of 2021 attended school for the final time on Friday.
The traditional Swing Out walk through downtown Coldwater as well as planned outdoor spirit walks at the other schools in the district had to be called off.
Instead, the seniors got an indoor spirit tunnel salute from Coldwater High School underclassmen. They then loaded onto school buses and were given a police escort throughout Coldwater. The seniors then attended a luncheon at the First Baptist Church.
Before all of that happened, a Senior Convocation Assembly was held in the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium.
Principal Bill Milnes said it was the senior’s day to be honored for their accomplishments especially during the past difficult year.
Class President Kelly Warner thanked her mother for her work as class advisor.
This year’s Coldwater High School graduation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 13.
