Joyce Seigler, 95, of Quincy, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
A memorial service for Joyce will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Quincy United Methodist Church with Pastor Richard Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service beginning at 10: 00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy at a later date.
She was born July 30, 1925 in Detroit to Otto and Sarah (Ketchum) Hermance. She married her husband of 77 years, Marion Seigler February 20, 1944.
Joyce graduated from Hazel Park in 1943. She worked in banking her whole life, and was an assistant cashier at First National Bank of Quincy. She was a life member of the Quincy American Legion Auxiliary and IOOF Rebekah’s Lodge. Joyce also was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Group, American Institute of Banking and the Red Hat Society in Quincy and in Florida. She loved arts and crafts, especially Bunca (Creating pictures with colored thread).
Surviving besides her husband, Marion is one son, Jarret (Tresa) Seigler of Plainwell; grandchildren, Kent Wyatt of Quincy and Kaprice (Scott) McFarland of Coldwater; great-grandchildren, Drew Wyatt, Alexis Wolfinger and Brady McFarland; and son-in-law, Ken Smoker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Danette Smoker; two sisters and two brothers.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Quincy United Methodist Church.
