COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – With plenty of people ready to hit the road now that COVID-19 restrictions have been eased, the Coldwater Country Conference and Visitors Bureau is making up for lost time.
The Coldwater Country Conference and Visitors Bureau is a “destination marketing organization” for the county, funded by an assessment paid by visitors staying at Branch County hotels.
The organization also prints the Coldwater Country Official Visitor Guide, which is distributed every year but Executive Director Debra Yee told the Coldwater Downtown Development Authority Board on Wednesday all of the Welcoming Centers were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Yee said the pandemic hit their budget hard last year but they were saved by a “Rainy Day Fund”
She said PBS host “Erik The Travel Guy” will be making a week long stop locally in August.

These are always very nice. I use them myself as reminders of things I can do locally when I have some time on my hands.
