Lucille Regelin, 86, of Coldwater passed away June 29, 2021 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility, Coldwater.
Following cremation, a public memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #1907, on Butters Avenue, in Coldwater.
Lucille was born August 24, 1934 in Knobel, Arkansas to Marion and Lebie (Barrett) Collins. At the age of 14, she moved with her family to Michigan City, IN, then relocated to Michigan in 1961. She was first married to Ruben Knight and then later to Leland L. Jennings and to Edward Regelin. All preceded her in death.
Lucille worked as a seamstress as a garment factory, as well as at a carnival, restaurants all over, factories and Builder’s Square. In 2014, she moved to Coldwater and has resided there since.
Survivors include Lucille’s children, Kathleen (Loui) Phelps of Muskegon, Connie (Denny Watkins) Knight of Burlington, Ron (Terese) Knight of Coldwater and Ruben Thomas (Kathy) Knight of Shelby Township; grandchildren, Lisa (Eugene) Arends of Muskegon, Jonathon Smith of Phoenix, AZ, James (Jamie) Phelps of Muskegon, Jeff Phelps, John Phelps, Lea Phelps, Thomas (Julia) Potter, Randie Lynn Burmingham, Chad Potter, Edward (Nina) Knight, Joe (Stacy) Ward, Courtney (Greg Dunning) Knight, Trevor Knight, Thomas Knight and Tyler Knight; many great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles George Thomas Collins.
