COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Wing House Museum is scheduled to restart Open House Tours on Saturday, August 21 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm but they will be having a special quiet Open House Tour this Saturday.
The public will be welcomed from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday with a donation of $5 per person.
The Branch County Historical Society said on its Facebook page they spent this past winter doing restoration work in the museum, adding some new displays, and changing the settings in some rooms.
Some of the new displays include a 300+ Native American arrowhead collection gathered in Branch County and the 1840s Spinning Wheel of Catherine Arnold along with two of her coverlets made from wool thread produced on the spinning wheel.
