DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Detroit Tigers pitcher Spencer Turnbull will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery.
Turnbull has been on the injured list since early June and testing found that he had damage in his right elbow.
He tossed a no-hitter in May to notch the eighth no-hitter in Detroit history.
