UNDATED (WTVB) – Top seeds Kansas and Oregon are into the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. Kansas mauled Maryland 79-63, in Louisville. The Jayhawks will meet Villanova in the South Regional final after the second-seeded Wildcats thumped Miami, 92-69.
Meanwhile, Oregon drilled Duke, 82-68, in the West semis. The Ducks will do battle with Oklahoma in the finals after the Sooners smoked Texas A&M, 77-63.
Sweet 16 play wraps up with four games on Friday. In the Midwest Region, top-seeded Virginia meets Iowa State while Gonzaga squares off with Syracuse. In the East Regional, number-one seed North Carolina clashes with Indiana and Notre Dame does battle with Wisconsin.
