COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – With a power outage that’s lasted since Thursday morning, one Coldwater area church is getting creative with its Sunday morning service this week.
Lockwood Community Church will have one service at 11:00 a.m., outside in their pavilion.
A long planned car show that was a fundraiser to pay for a mission trip to Mexico also still happened at Lockwood, despite no power. Organizers resorted to hauling water in buckets to flush toilets so the event could continue.
The latest estimate from the Consumers Energy Outage Map shows the area around the church on Lookwood south of Coldwater won’t have power restored until 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
