COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Burnside Senior Center attendees were able to enjoy outdoor activities in the shade and at a safe distance this summer thanks to the use of a tent from Clemens Food Group and A Grand Occasion.
Clemens offered to loan the Burnside Center their outdoor tent they own while A Grand Occasion maintains it during the summer months, keeping it safe from inclement weather. The Burnside Center was closed for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and attendees and staff were eager to resume activities.
Burnside Center Executive Director Amy Duff says, “We’re grateful for the generosity from Clemens Food Group and A Grand Occasion,” said Burnside Center executive director Amy Duff. “This tent has given us the flexibility during the pandemic to offer activities in a safe way that allows members to be spaced out comfortably.”
The Burnside Center is at 65 Grahl Drive in Coldwater. For more information on activities at the Burnside Center, log onto www.BurnsideCenter.com.
