COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The results are in for the third annual City of Coldwater and Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Holiday Decoration Contest. The top prize of $200 goes to Brian and Brandi Killian, a repeat overall winner from last year for their home on Shoshoni Pass.
In the other categories announced today, the Best Special Effects/Interaction honor went to Mark Kistel, a two-time winner for his residence on State Street. Dave and Lynn Bach were recognized for Most Effective Use of Space for the decorations and lights on their home on Hatch Street. The Most Creative Light Display award went to another two-time winner, Mark Gould, who resides on Carol Court. The sub categories each won $100.
The City said it congratulates all of the winners for their hard work that helps make the holiday season that much more special for everyone to enjoy. Although these houses received the most votes, the City and the CBPU encourage everyone to take a drive around town and see the dozens of other well decorated homes, as well as the lighted streets of downtown Coldwater.
