DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers completed a two-game series sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers with a 4-1 win yesterday at Comerica Park.
Miguel Cabrera had an RBI double and Dustin Garneau hit a solo home run.
Starter Matt Manning notched his fourth win of the season after giving up one run while striking out six in six innings.
The Tigers hit the road for a four-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays beginning tonight. Detroit took two games from Tampa Bay during last weekend’s three-game set at Comerica Park.
The Tigers send Tyler Alexander to the hill in the opener, while the Rays counter with Dietrich Enns. The opening pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.EDT.
