CENTREVILLE, MI (WTVB) – If you did not get your fill of county fairs this summer in Branch or Calhoun Counties, there will be two county fairs in our area over the next couple of weeks.
Both are being held after being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The St. Joseph County Grange Fair opened on Sunday for a week long run. The grandstand entertainment will be highlighted by a performance on Saturday night from Diamond Rio and special guest Cash O’Reily.
New this year at the fair in Centreville is a beer tent that will be open every day through Thursday at 3:00 p.m.. More information can be found at www.centrevillefair.com.
The Hillsdale County Fair will start next Sunday and run until October 2. It’s called, “The Most Popular Fair on Earth” and is produced by the non-profit Hillsdale County Agricultural Society. There is a theme every year and the 2021 theme “Together Again” reflects what happened a year ago when county fairs had to be cancelled throughout Michigan.
