Margaret Ann Kaiser, 77, of Allen, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, at the Laurels of Coldwater.
There will be no services or calling hours at this time. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Interment will be in Allen Cemetery.
She was born on February 8, 1944, in Allen to Edward and Kathrine (Hubbell) Delaney. On November 24, 1962, she married Henry Kaiser and he survives.
Margaret attended school in Allen and graduated from Quincy High School in 1962 where she was a part of the marching band. She loved her family, writing to her pen pals, Pat from England and Virginia from Canada. She collected Beanie Babies and memorabilia of the Royal Family of the United Kingdom.
Margaret was very active in the Allen community as one of the founders of the Allen Antique Mommas (Red Hatters), serving on the village council for many years, Allen Park Committee, charter member and past secretary of the Allen Area Historical Society. She was also a leader for the Campfire Girls club, teacher’s aide at Jennings Elementary in Quincy and also at Reading High School. Margaret also enjoyed music and attending the Hillsdale Singspirations. She also attended Allen and Jonesville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, Henry, Margaret is survived by son-in-law, Dale Houck; two grandchildren, Samantha Houck, Jacob Houck; one sister, Gladys (Ted) Wise of Jonesville; one brother, Edward (Doris Dirling) Delaney of Reading and one sister-in-law, Marge Delaney of Litchfield. Margaret was also the adopted grandmother of John and Joshua Fillmore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Candie Houck and one brother, Ned Delaney.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
