COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A change is coming in 2016 for three private physician practices in the area with plans now in motion to have them become part of the expanded services offered through the Community Health Center of Branch County. The CHC Board of Trustees this week approved the transition for Family Practice of Bronson and Litchfield Family Health Clinic while working toward finalization of converting Coldwater OB/GYN to a hospital owned practice.
A news release from the Community Health Center said the acquisitions strategically fit CHC’s initiatives to recruit and retain physicians. The administration at the hospital in Coldwater says with the changes in health care it is important to protect and preserve the clinics in Bronson and Litchfield as they are on the peripheries of CHC’s boundaries. They also say the initiative will ensure their continued quality care for patients in those market areas.
In becoming CHC employed physicians, Tania Berry, DO of the Family Practice of Bronson, and Troy Davis, DO of Litchfield Family Health Clinic will continue their long-standing association with the CHC medical staff after they both completed residencies as a part of CHC’s graduate medical education program.
The transition is expected to be finalized by January 1, 2016, at which time the practices will be known as CHC Family Practice of Bronson and CHC Litchfield Family Practice.
