Timothy J. Castle, 61, of Coldwater, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at his home, with his loving family by his side.
A funeral mass to celebrate the life of Timothy Castle will be held Monday, October 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Coldwater with Father Nicholas Sseggobe officiating.
Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private family interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
He was born March 18, 1960 in Pigeon, Michigan to James E. and Mary Lois (Larocque) Castle. He married Susan Daignault, and she survives.
Tim graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1978, and attended Ferris State University. He had a passion for working on cars and spent his entire working life in the automotive industry, attaining the Ford Motor Company distinction of Senior Master Technician. He worked as a mechanic for many years with his father, and at several car dealerships until he started his own shop, Castle & Sons Auto in Coldwater.
Aside from his love for his work, he enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Susan, are three sons, Matthew (Adrienne) Castle, Jerry (Laura) Saterlee and Greg (Ashley) Saterlee; grandchildren, Tyler, Alaina, Kayden, Blake and Chance Saterlee; three brothers, Jeff (Donna) Castle, Mark Castle, and John (Helyn) Castle; one sister, Mary Beth (Kent) Lancaster, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
